What new year? Chinese New Year! Now you may be wondering wait, isn’t it like February? Yes it is, but its because we celebrate the beginning of the Lunar calendar. This is an event where many Asians like myself get together with our families and have a lot of fun! After the huge dinner, here comes the fun part; thats when the adults give out Hongbao, or red envelopes that contain money, to the kids, 
for they believe this would bring them luck and wealth. With the money I received I can begin to save up for a camera, wireless router for my nintendo ds, and many other things ( to help me make better blogs) but the best thing about Chinese New Year isn’t the money; its family gatherings that are priceless.
